In the program`s first year, he directed four episodes, two of which are contained in the laserdisc release-''The Case of Mr. Harrison (Hitchcock had hired her as a secretary in 1935 she later became his close collaborator and a respected independent producer) would set aside the scripts she thought would appeal to him, and Hitchcock would make the final choice himself.
